CLASS SCHEDULE

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

FLOW YOGA (75 min) – Flow Yoga is a fun, energetic class that incorporates movement with breath. Building strength, balance and flexibility in your mind and body.

RESTORATIVE YOGA (75 min) –  Restorative nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. The support of the props allows the body to gently open, relax deeply, and heal. These classes are ideal for those going through stressful times, suffering from illness, going through major life changes, or for those wanting to take a break from a stressful day.

TAI CHI (60 min) – Tai chi is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. To do Tai Chi, you perform a series of postures or movements in a slow, graceful manner. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.

YOGA NIDRA (75 min) – A unique guided meditation that is preceded by yogic breathing and movement. The gong is played during the guided meditation of Nidra Yoga while you lie comfortably on your mat. Your stress will be transformed into positive, your mind will be cleared, your body will be rejuvenated. All levels – beginners welcome!

PiYo (60 min) – PiYo combines the best of Pilates and Yoga and introduces intensity. PiYo speeds everything up—including your results—by introducing you to dynamic, flowing sequences that burn serious calories while lengthening and toning your muscles and increasing your flexibility.

TRADTIONAL HATHA (60 min) – This class adheres to the tradition of using breath to link body and mind. The class uses asana to condition the body and ready the mind for meditation. This is a place and a space to do important work toward achieving a more sustained joy.

BEGINNERS YOGA (60 MIN) – A regular flow class with an emphasis on explaining basics and helping those who are new to yoga feel comfortable and at ease.

GENTLE YOGA (75 MIN) – A softer, gentle, slow paced style of yoga. Great for new yoga students, older students, and anyone with movement limitations recovering from injuries, and arthritis.

YIN YOGA (75 MIN) – Yin yoga is a class for anyone. It eases overstimulation and an overactive mind. Yin yoga holds poses for longer periods of time to target the deeper connective tissues, ligaments, bones and joints. It is a passive practice done mostly on the ground working in the lower part of the body, the hips, pelvis, inner thighs and spine. The poses are done gentler and you are encouraged to relax and use breath to guide you in the poses.

GENTLE MORNING FLOW (75 MIN) – A slow and gentle morning flow class geared to start your morning with ease . Slowly moving with breath and movement to create peace , harmony and strength in the mind body and spirit . We will also be working on alignment in postures and modifications to allow each pose to be accessible for all.

HATHA BLEND (60 MIN) – is an alignment -oriented practice. The poses are held in alignment for longer periods of time but also incorporate the breath with movements. Props are also used to help assist in the postures if needed. It will have blends of gentle flow, breathing, standing and seated postures. Students are encouraged to listen to their body and allow their practice to be creative.   This class is for all levels of yoga.
